You will need to adjust how much you cut off the edge if your ribbing is wider. This would pull the edge in enough so that it would hug your body and not gape. I'm all about fixing it when it's this close to done and the fabric is lovely. Don't give up this soon!Linda in TNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05510424048374127759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3869703419124014965.post-21849528628283013392010-04-09T19:20:20.152-05:002010-04-09T19:20:20.152-05:00I think the fabric is at fault. Yes, it does need to be smaller and I did pin the side seams smaller and it just made the bust look smushed (is that a word?) and still it drooped. The fabric is not a good match to the pattern - it needs something with more body.Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03752364221796938135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3869703419124014965.post-37330642043735461922010-04-09T15:08:48.657-05:002010-04-09T15:08:48.657-05:00Too bad this didn't turn out well- the pattern...Too bad this didn't turn out well- the pattern looks like it has so much potential! So if you tried to make it in a different size, would it work out?aghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08958071611108216676noreply@blogger.com
